Uni joint are a 3 piece power transmission coupling unit, that works at high torque, speed up to 6000 rpm and 8° of misalignment.
Uni joint usually can be used at a maximum of 8° misalignment, but anything above this will cause premature wear and means replacement of the bearings and block.
Broken Yokes are an issue also especially at high torque.
