These companies have many years of power transmission experience and the fit with our coupling line is a natural add-on to their current product offerings, says Darren Finch CEO/Founder of Twin Spring Coupling.

Their decades of working with industrial distribution companies and dealers on a daily basis makes them a great asset to us. Their experience also helps OEMs make a better decision on which coupling they should or could be using.

The traditional coupling offerings (universal joint, jaw coupling and elastomeric couplings) all have their inherent weaknesses – Universal joint – constant greasing, replacing bearings and issues with moisture, jaw couplings – inability to flex past 1 degrees, UV exposure to elastomeric insert, elastomeric couplings – total flex capacity of 4 degrees and UV exposure issues.

We at Twin Spring can offer a more flexible coupling, without any internals that need constant maintenance or replacement, that can work in almost any condition, all adds up to a new alternative for engineers and MRO technicians when it comes to equipment design and maintenance.

The companies in the industrial distribution channel have had lots of experience dealing with these companies, the likes of Grainger, Motion, AD, Fastenal, MSC Industrial, DXP, BDI, OTP, Turtle and Hughes, CBT, IBT and many others, they will continue to deal with them and serve as their front line sales and technical support agents.
