TB Wood’s Taper Grid Coupling is the industry standard, state-of-the-art design from TB Wood’s and Bibby Turboflex, the original grid coupling manufacturer. The G-Flex 1000 / Bibby 2000 Series is an all-metal coupling that provides positive protection against the damaging effects of shock loads and vibration. Aluminum horizontal cover (T10), and all-steel vertical cover (T20) designs are available. G-Flex tapered grid couplings are an excellent choice where torsional flexibility and vibration damping are primary concerns.
- Falk Steelflex grids or gridmembers are the serpentine shaped alloy spring steel that connect the hubs and transmit torque between the coupling hubs.
- Five year warranty on Falk Steelflex Couplings when lubricated with Falk LTG Grease and used with Falk hubs, covers, and grids.
- Falk grids are shot-peened and heat treated for maximum fatigue resistance and torque transmission capability, resulting in increased uptime and MTBF in the most demanding applications.
- When lubricated with Falk Long Term Grease (LTG) a Falk Steelflex Coupling does not require re-lubrication for five years.
