The uni joint whether friction bearing or needle bearing both require extra maintenance and replacement parts in its lifespan.
At Twin Spring we don’t need the maintenance because we don’t use bearing crosses like in uni joints. The Twin Spring design absorbs vibration and one ball bearing allows the coupling to flex to 45 degrees.
